Teaching Philosophy

Language connects people and convinces us how to act. That's the realization I want my students to take with them as they leave my classroom. The classroom can become a community, where the students and professor are all learning from one another. In my classroom passive students become active learners. Assignments and activities engage and enhance learning so that students gain confidence.
