For information regarding distance learning courses, contact the instructor, visit http://www.pstcc.edu/online/, or call Educational Technology Services (865-694‑6593). To find the Web courses offered for the current semester, consult the printed Schedule of Classes.

Students participating in Web or hybrid courses that involve internet access will be using the Desire2Learn (D2L) interface.

All students should complete the online orientation to learn the basics of navigation through their course

Students may also visit the Support Site for Online Teaching & Learning for tutorials, handouts, and other information about using D2L for online learning at Pellissippi State.

Web courses may require proctored examinations. Students in states other than Tennessee and students who take proctored exams in locations other than Pellissippi State may have to pay an additional fee to the school/college/institution that administers the actual test.

Some instructors require a face-to-face orientation as noted below by this icon Orientation Icon - picture of compass

Whether through orientation, email, telephone or other means of communication, enrolled students are responsible for contacting the Web course instructor. Email is the best means of communicating with Web instructors.
