Using the Multimedia Console with Proxima 6850+ Projector

FIRST: Turn on the PROJECTORphoto of Proxima remote control

  1. Press the yellow "ON" button on the remote control

 

SECOND: Select the device to be projected

COMPUTER

  1. Turn "ON" the computer
  2. Press "RGB" on the projector remote control and wait while it searches. Press again if computer is not visible

 

DOCUMENT CAMERA

  1. Check that camera is "ON" as indicated by the green light on the camera base.
  2. Press "VIDEO" on the projector remote control and wait while it searches. Press "VIDEO" again if document camera is not visible

 

VCR (videotape)

  1. Turn on the VCR, insert the video tape, and  it will begin to “PLAY”. (Not ready?...press "STOP" on VCR)
  2. Press the “VCR” labeled switch above the VCR.
  3. Press “VIDEO” on the projector remote control.
  4. Adjust the volume by single “clicking” on the “speaker” icon on the bottom right of the computer desktop. A sliding button will appear.

 

CLOSED CIRCUIT TV (CCTV) CHANNELS (PELLISSIPPI CAMPUS ONLY)

  1. Turn on the VCR and select the desired channel using “ ^  v ”  buttons on the VCR.
  2. Press the “VCR” labeled switch above the VCR.
  3. Press "VIDEO" on the projector remote control and wait while it searches. Press "VIDEO" again if videotape is not visible.
  4. Adjust volume by single clicking on the "speaker" icon on the bottom right of the computer desktop and adjusting the slider that appears on the screen.

NOTE: Turn OFF the VCR when not in use or you will hear TV audio through the speakers

 

MOST IMPORTANT: Please turn OFF the projector when you are finished. Hold the remote control yellow "ON" button down for five (5) seconds or until the lamp shuts off.
