Instructional Technology

Educational Technology Services works to help the students, faculty and staff of Pellissippi State use technology to teach and learn more effectively.

Instructional technology includes all types of equipment that is used in the classroom or in distance learning.

Instructor Stations (or multimedia consoles) are installed in every classroom on all campuses for projection of a variety of media to the entire class.

Workshops are scheduled for faculty development and one-on-one sessions are also available.

The Faculty Multimedia Studio (Goins 236B) is available for multimedia creation and practice with other instructional technologies.

The Faculty Toolbelt is a set of instructional technology tools supported by ETS.

The New, Emerging and eXperimental Technology (NEXT) Classroom is supported by ETS.

Technology Update and the TeachTech are our current blogs. Other campus blogs are located at Pellissippi State Blogs

Technology Tuesdays & Web Wednesdays were regular seminars from 2000 - 2007 on technology topics of interest to faculty and staff. These sessions are archived in a Technology Tuesday/Web Wednesday blog.
