Celebrate the rich and beautiful complexity of Latino and Hispanic culture at Pellissippi State as we recognize the importance of their contributions to our community and the world.

Choral concert performed by Variations Choir under the direction of Associate Professor of Music Meagan Humphreys.

Lecture: The Dirty War in Argentina – How Families Changed in Argentina Between 1975-1982. Presented by Nathan Widener, Assistant Professor.

The Dirty War in Argentina changed many aspects of life, including the family. This conversation is an exploration of what happened in Argentina between 1975 to 1982, specifically focusing on survivors and their stories of family. The lecture explores how the Mothers of the Plaza affected the end of the reign of terror and the reshaping of Argentina in the 1980s with the document of Nunca Mas.
