1. Each homework assignment turned in for extra credit must have the textbook section number and assigned problems listed on the first page of the assignment in the upper right hand corner of the page. (For example, 9.4 #1-15 odd.) You may use the back of the paper, but please start each section assignment on a new sheet of paper.
2. Homework that is turned in for extra credit must be completed in pencil. The work that is necessary to set up and complete the problem must be shown for all problems. For example, you should show how you substituted problem values into a particular formula. You do not have to show the arithmetic of the problem if you use your calculator to finish the problem. Homework with only final answers (copied from the back or the Solutions Manual???) will not receive credit unless there is absolutely no work to be shown. (Chapter 1 and parts of Chapter 2 are the only ones where there is very little or no work to show.)
3. Make sure your name is on the first page being turned in. Staple all pages together and put in a pocket of the folder. No loose pages, please.
4. On the front of the folder in the upper right corner put:
Your Name
MATH 1530 Section VT1
Homework - Extra Credit
If you have a dark colored folder, please use a white sticker to write the above information on. Only assignments for the current chapter(s) being tested should be in the folder - that is, do not keep assignments from previous chapters (or lecture notes or old exams) in the folder.
5. Homework turned in for extra credit points must be turned in no later than the day of STATDISK is due and will not be accepted after that day.
