This site resulted from a session at the Tennessee Board of Regents Distance Education conference for 2006, entitled "Free Software for Instructors."

Originally, this was set up as a blog. Basically, each piece of software or Web site had its own entry. The new database is sorted according to various categories you might be interested in, making it easier to find software of interest. For instance, if you just want to see software that helps you with computer security, browse the "Security" category via the filtering option.

The "headline" for each entry will be the name of the software or Web site. Each entry also includes a link that will take you to the relevant site in a new window.
