Fee Definitions
Tuition |

The charge is $135 per credit hour up to 12 hours and $27 more per each additional hour. This fee is charged to all students enrolled in credit, audit or Regents Online courses. It is calculated based on the number of hours for which the student is enrolled. |

Application Fee |

This fee must accompany the initial application form submitted to Pellissippi State prior to a student's entrance. This is a one-time fee and is not refundable even though the student does not enter Pellissippi State. |

|
Collection Costs |
|
|
This fee is added to delinquent accounts that are submitted to an outside agency for collection. The fee is 23-40 percent of the delinquent account amount. |
|
|
Identification Card Replacement |
$10 |
|
The first student identification card is issued to all entering students at no charge. There is a replacement charge of $10 for lost or damaged cards. This fee is paid at the Cashier's Office during regular business hours. Present the receipt at one of the ID production sites for issuance of a new ID card. |
|
|
Library Replacement Fees |
|
|
This fee is for the replacement cost of library materials lost or deemed lost due to an overdue status. The fee consists of the replacement cost of the books, periodicals or other items, plus a $15 per item processing fee. |
|
|
Library Repair Fees |
|
|
This nonrefundable fee is for the actual cost of repair (re-binding) of books and materials. An additional $5 is charged to offset overhead costs to repair the items. |
|
|
Out-of-State Tuition |
|
|
The charge is $422 per credit hour up to 12 hours and $84 more per each additional hour. This is an additional fee charged to students classified as nonresidents of Tennessee who are enrolled in credit, audit or Regents Online courses. Out-of-state tuition is calculated based on the number of hours for which the student is enrolled. This fee is in addition to in-state tuition. Students are classified as non-residents by the Admissions office. |

Returned Check Fee |

|
This nonrefundable fee is charged to all students who write checks that are later returned to Pellissippi State from a financial institution because payment has been refused. |
|
|
ROCC Fees |
|
|
The charge is $135 per credit hour. This fee is charged to all students enrolled in credit, audit, or Regents Online courses. It is calculated based on the number of hours for which the student is enrolled. |

ROCC Online Fees |
|
|
The charge is $54 per credit hour. This fee is charged to all students enrolled in Regents Online courses. It is calculated based on the number of credit hours for Regents courses only. |

|
ROCC Out-of-State Tuition |
|
|
The charge is $422 per credit hour. This is an additional fee charged to students classified as nonresidents of Tennessee who are enrolled in credit, audit or Regents Online courses. Out-of-state tuition is calculated based on the number of hours for which the student is enrolled. This fee is in addition to in-state tuition. Students are classified as non-residents by the Admissions office. |

Telecourse Fines - Audiovisual Equipment |

This fine is for the replacement cost of lost audiovisual equipment plus a $5 nonrefundable processing fee. |

This fine is for the replacement cost of telecourse materials plus a $5 nonrefundable processing fee. |

Students and employees parked illegally, speeding or not properly displaying a Pellissippi State parking permit will receive a parking violation ticket. All fines must be paid within 14 calendar days from date of ticket. A late penalty is added to the cost of the ticket after the 14 calendar days have passed. |

All fees are subject to change at any time by action of the Tennessee Board of Regents. The college reserves the right to correct errors in student fee assessments and charges which are discovered subsequent to initial billings or fee statements.
