General Information
The Foundation Accounting office functions to provide accounting services and support to aid the Pellissippi State Foundation and to ensure accurate financial reporting related to the Foundation.
The Foundation Accounting office:
- Manages the Foundation’s general ledger
- Monitors Foundation investment and endowment funds
- Prepares Foundation quarterly and annual financial statements
- Prepares the Foundation portion of Pellissippi State’s financial statements (component unit reporting)
- Ensures proper account transfer of various fundraising proceeds and gifts in kind
- Keeps Foundation personnel informed about the status of accounts
- Performs system maintenance and monitoring to ensure accurate financial postings
- Provides Foundation financial data for various industry surveys
