General Information
The Plant Accounting department functions to ensure accurate financial reporting for capitalized and non-capitalized projects related to college facilities.
The Plant Accounting department:
- Manages plant related general ledger
- Monitors transactions to ensure accuracy
- Prepares internal and external reports related to plant-related financial activity
- Keeps key personnel informed about the status of project accounts
- Performs system maintenance and monitoring for plant-related funds
- Ensures accuracy of Pellissippi State capital assets and records annual depreciation costs
- Coordinates accounting entries for projects with state level expenditures
