There are three fundamental ways you can help the institution and those
following in your footsteps—1) student recruitment and support, 2)
volunteer/committee work, and 3) donations/fundraising.

Volunteers at Pellissippi State help at the annual
"Breakfast with Santa"
Recruitment
You know better than anyone what a unique institution Pellissippi State
is and what it can mean for a person's future. Share that insight with your
family members, your friends, your neighbors, and co-workers. You can also
share that insight in more formal settings, as several alumni did during
the recent fall Open House for prospective students and their parents.
Internships
The student body at Pellissippi
State runs the gamut
in age, background, and objective. If your business is willing to consider
internships to allow students to gain valuable work experience, email alunmi@pstcc.edu.
Volunteer/ Committee Work
There are rarely too many resources, especially hands, for special events
and projects, whether it's the annual Breakfast with Santa, an Open House
for prospective students, a reception for scholarship recipients and donors,
or special fundraising events like the Pellississippi State Hot Air Balloon
Festival. Individuals are also needed to help identify, pursue, and guide
various potential alumni projects.

Hundreds of volunteers
are needed at our annual Hot Air Balloon Festival.
Donations
One of the simplest ways to continue to support Pellissippi State
and its students is through tax-deductible financial contributions to the Pellissippi State Foundation.
This is a particularly suitable choice for those who themselves received
financial assistance as students, and those far-flung alumni and friends
whose locations are barriers to more active, personal involvement. It is
also an important alternative in view of cutbacks in state funding and the
subsequent forced increases in tuition.
