Giving to the Foundation: Ways To Give

Charitable Lead Trust

In a charitable lead trust, the income from the asset, not the asset, is donated. This arrangement provides the Foundation with an income from the trust for a term of years, or for the lifetime of an individual. At the end of the payment period, the trust property reverts to the donor or, more commonly, passes to the donor’s family and other heirs.
