Giving to the Foundation
Ways to Give
Gifts can be outright, current gifts of cash or non-cash assets. Non-cash gifts include appreciated stocks, real estate, life insurance, and charitable remainder trusts. Or they can be “deferred” gifts that pass to the Foundation at some future date.

The government provides many tax incentives for charitable giving. For example, part of your donation is tax deductible if you itemize deductions on your income tax. Other gifts, such as charitable trusts, are designed to provide educational opportunities for future generations of Pellissippi State students and also reduce estate and gift taxes for your heirs.
You can also view the Foundation's Outline of Ways to Give to Foundation, which includes many examples of the types of non-cash gifts that can (and those that cannot) be considered for acceptance by the Foundation.
For more information contact the executive director of the Foundation, or the director of Major Gift Development. Working with your legal and tax advisors, we can help you plan today for maximum benefits tomorrow (see Contact Us).
To our donors: Your gift to the Pellissippi Foundation will impact your financial situation. This Web site does not provide legal or financial advice. Consult your attorney, tax adviser, and the Foundation before making or planning a gift.
