This annual festival began in 2004 with an attendance of more than 15,000 people. Held in the fall, a beautiful time in East Tennessee, the Hot Air Balloon Festival is a major fundraising and friendraising event for the Foundation. A highlight is the Friday night "balloon glow" around the pond on the Pellissippi campus.

Live entertainment, children’s activities, tethered-balloon rides, food vendors, and arts and crafts vendors are part of the family-oriented event.

Come join the fun and excitement! We have plenty of food for sale. Bring your lawn chairs to enjoy the live stage entertainment and balloons. The hot air balloons are a beautiful sight, and the whole experience is a definite "memory maker."
