Golf Tournament

FORE! ... Pellissippi State students and programs

Join us for a round of golf each year at the foot of the Smokies. Call your friends and form a team to quadruple your fun. The past two tournaments have been held at Egwani Farms in Rockford. The registration fee includes lunch, a goody bag, contests, and great prizes.

Hole and corporate sponsorships are available to insure the success of this annual fundraiser for the College. After expenses, the Foundation raised more than $11,000 in 2005, more than $17,000 in 2006 and more than $17,000 in 2007 at this event—quite an accomplishment for the Foundation’s first, second and third golf tournament.

Remember, no matter what your golfing skills are everyone wins at an event like this!

We hope you will join us each year as we take a Big Swing for Student Scholarships.

Many people work each year to make the Foundation Golf Tournament a great success. Pictured from left to right is Pat Myers, the Foundation’s director of Alumni Relations and Foundation Events. Joining Pat are several members of the tournament committee: Dan Jones, manager of the Student Recreation Center at Pellissippi State, and Foundation Board members Dick McGill with Joseph Construction and Mark Brodd with Blaine Construction. Dick McGill served as the committee chair.  Committee members not pictured: Board members Jonathan Hayes, UBS Financial Service, Sam Marshall, First Tennessee Bank, Don Shell, Community Tectonics, Carol Jamerson, Rentenbach Constructions, Inc. and Mike North, Assistant Dean Division Street Campus.
