Planned Giving Recognition Societies
Donors who have chosen to include the Pellissippi State Foundation in their plans for charitable giving are recognized through membership in the Pellissippi State Heritage Society and or the Pellissippi State Legacy Society. Examples include gifts of a retirement plan, life insurance, charitable trust, gift annuity, and bequests through a will.
The Pellissippi State Heritage Society
Please contact the Foundation Office (see Contact Us) to let us know if your estate plans include a donation to the Foundation. Membership in the Pellissippi State Heritage Society will be extended to all individuals who notify the Pellissippi State Foundation Office of their intent to leave a planned gift to the Pellissippi State Foundation. See Options for Planned Giving for descriptions of types of gifts. The names of members of the Heritage Society will be published in an annual report on giving, unless the donor wishes to remain anonymous. Names are also posted on an honor roll in the Goins Administration Building (unless the donor directs otherwise).
The Pellissippi State Legacy Society
The Pellissippi State Legacy Society has been established to recognize donors whose estate gifts to the Foundation have been received. The legacy of these donors, whose foresight and planning helps bridge the gap between the needs and resources of Pellissippi State, is deeply appreciated. As a way to thank and to recognize Legacy Society donors, the Foundation will list their names in the Foundation’s annual report and permanently acknowledge their contribution by listing their names on the Legacy Society display in the Goins Administration Building on the Pellissippi Campus (unless donors request anonymity).
