How We Do It

Educational and Cultural Programming

  • The Foundation worked with Bill Landry from the “Heartland Series” and WBIR-TV to develop and help fund the George Washington Carver Project, which educated and entertained junior high and high school students and the general public through numerous performances in the region. The Foundation also brought Bill Landry to the Performing Arts Center at Pellissippi State for a public performance his one-man play, “Einstein the Man.” Proceeds from the event benefited the Foundation’s Greatest Need Fund.
