Apply before March 18 for Executive Women International’s scholarship

Applications are being accepted for EWI’s (Executive Women International) ASIST (Adult Students in Scholastic Transition) Scholarship.

The scholarship is open to full-time and part-time students who are 18 years and older and are enrolled at Pellissippi State in a degree-seeking program. Students must also have a minimum grade-point average of 2.5 or its equivalent in the high school or college the student last attended.

The deadline to apply is Friday, March 18, 2022.

The following is a list of items that will need to be uploaded before completing the application.

• Essay – Describe what your life’s goals and objectives are and how obtaining additional education or a college degree will further these goals and objectives. Explain what qualifies you for this scholarship. There is a 1,000 word limit for the essay. Students also can upload an optional video that tells more about themselves and expands on their essays.
• Two letters of reference/recommendations explaining why you should be considered for a scholarship award. Letters should be from a post/present employer, advisor, guidance counselor, teacher or person in a similar leadership role.
• A prior tax return.

This is a tremendous opportunity. Many of our Pellissippi State students have received this scholarship in the past.
