Basic Skills, Placement and Admission Exams are administered to incoming students to determine if students possess the skills needed for college level courses. These exams are offered several times a semester or year.

Career Testing is administered on an "as requested" basis to help students assess their
skills levels and choose a major. Contact Joan Newman at 865-694-6453 for more information.

Adult Education Exams are administered to students who are planning to enroll in an Adult Education (AE) program or receive their General Equivalency Diploma. Contact Beverly Jolley at 865-539-7109 for information on free tutoring.  GED exams are offered several times a month.

Testing Centers are available at all four campus locations for instructors and students to use; thus allowing students who miss an exam in class to take the exam with the instructor's permission in the Center. Centers are open 15-30 hours a week while classes are in session.

Tests for College Credit are administered through the Testing Center.
