The Pellissippi Campus Library is located on the first and second floors of the ERC (Educational Resources Center). There are also ERC's at the Division Street Campus, the Blount County Center, and the Magnolia Avenue Campus, all of which offer library services. The library's dynamic web site functions as a fourth branch that is open 24/7/365. Many of the library's resources are available electronically. Over 60,000 electronic books and over 1,600 audiobooks covering a wide range of topics are available. The library also subscribes to over 60 electronic databases which provide thousands of full-text articles. Regular Fall and Spring semester hours for Pellissippi Campus Library and the Division Street, Blount County, and Magnolia Avenue ERC's are posted on the Library Services Web Page. There you will also find exceptions to the regular hours, summer break hours, and semester interim hours. Reference Desk services are available the entire time the Pellissippi Campus Library and ERC's are open. The first floor of the library contains the Circulation/ReserveDesk, Library Instruction Room, Library Technical Services, and Reference Room. Computer workstations with access to the on-line catalog and periodical databases, reference books, atlases, newspapers, CD-ROM resources and current periodicals can be found in the Reference Room. It also contains a microform collection of older issues of newspapers and periodicals. The second floor contains the "stacks" or collection of books which may be checked out. There is also a large "silent study area" on the second floor and five small group study rooms. Instructors frequently place materials on reserve in the library. These are located in the reserve room behind the circulation desk and may be checked out for in-library use only for a maximum of two hours.
