Access Science -  the online electronic version of the McGraw-Hill Encyclopedia of Science and Technology.  Includes science news and websites concerning life and physical sciences, engineering, mathematics, and technology.

Knovel Engineering & Scientific Online   - Provides full-text of engineering reference books and also contains books on civil, chemical, and
mechanical engineering, as well as metallurgy, biology, and food science.

Wilson Omnifile -  contains full text articles from 1,650 publications in Wilson databases, includingApplied Science and Technology Full Text.

REF TA 459 .M43 1990, Vols. 1-9 and Index.    A comprehensive reference on the properties, selection, processing, and applications of the most widely used nonmetallic engineering materials.  The industry's best known and most comprehensive source for information on metals and materials technology.  Each volume has articles, illustrations, tables, graphs, specifications and practical examples.

Machine Devices and Components Illustrated Sourcebook.  Robert O. Parmley, editor-in-chief.  New York: McGraw Hill, 2005. REF TJ 243 .I45 2005. For anyone who designs, repairs, or operates machines.  Includes design formulas and structural data.

Machinery's Handbook. 27th ed.   editors: E. Oberg and F. D. Jones.  New York: Industrial Press, 2004. REF TJ 151 .M3 2004.  Contents include mechanical engineering information on mathematics, mechanics, strength of materials, plastics, tooling and tool making, machining operations, fasteners, threads and threading, gears, splines and cams, and bearings and other machine elements.

Machinists’ Ready Reference. 9th edition. C. Weingartner, compiler. Ann Arbor, Michigan: Prakken Publications, 2001. REF TJ 1165 .W33 2001.  Provides machinist data including mathematical tables, tool charts, and standard measurements.

Smithells Metals Reference Book.  8th ed.  Amsterdam: Elsevier Butterworth-Heinemann, 2004.  REF TN 671 .S55 2004. The only single volume work which provides data on all key aspects of metallic materials.

Standard Handbook of Engineering Calculations. 4th ed. Tyler G. Hicks. New York: New York: McGraw-Hill, 2004. REF TA 332 .S73 2004.  Provides more than 5000 procedures for common design and operating problems in aeronautical and astronautical, architectural, chemical, control, electrical, electronic, marine, mechanical, nuclear, environmental, and sanitary engineering.
