• Library computers in the Reference area and on the second floor are available for use by visitors to access the library's information resources and the internet.

• Please be aware that computers are intended for scholarly and research purposes only and not for commercial gain or private profit.

• Computers are available on a first-come-first-serve basis; however, during especially busy times, priority must be given to Pellissippi students, faculty and staff.

Research Assistance

Community Borrower's Card

Area residents who are 18 years of age and can present a valid Tennessee Driver's License, or other acceptable proof of identity, age, and Tennessee residency, may request a community borrower's card.  This card allows check out of library materials with the following restrictions:

• The card is valid for one year, but may be renewed. 

• A maximum of five items can be checked out at once, with a limit of five renewals per item. 

• Overdue items must be returned before any other materials will be charged. Community borrowers are subject to the Library's stated loan periods and overdue policies. Click here:  Circulation for more information.

• Community patrons who reside more than 100 miles from a Pellissippi State location (no local address) may be asked to verify that they are in good standing with their local library and any other Tennessee library where they are registered users before items may be charged.
