Directory Assistance charge goes up
Pellissippi State has been notified that the charge for calling Directory Assistance is increasing significantly. The charge has been 29 cents per call, but starting September 16, the charge will be $1.99. In light of the increase, employees are being asked to use another search option. Here are some of the choices:
- The internet—Switchboard.com, AT&T Directory Assistance home page
- The nine-state AT&T telephone directory, which can be downloaded from the College’s home page
- The home pages of companies you do business with—the phone numbers are usually listed there
- Outlook contacts list, for new phone numbers
