Wedding Planner class offered March 10
“Wedding planners in Knoxville can make from several hundred to several thousand dollars per wedding,” according to Sonya Scott, the state’s only Master Bridal Consultant. “The average wedding in Tennessee costs around $28,000.” (more)
Book sale offers more than books
Imagine making $8,000 over the course of six days—in increments of 50 cents to $4. That would require selling anywhere from 2,000 to 16,000 items, and that’s exactly what the College did last year at its annual Faculty Senate Book Sale. (more)
Pellissippi State hosts Career Assistance Day February 28
Unemployment is rising and layoffs are becoming all too frequent. In response to the crisis, Pellissippi State is hosting Career Assistance Day this Saturday, February 28.
