Common Academic Experience: ‘Watercolors of Women’ March 23
“Watercolors of Women” promises to be a thought-provoking part of the 2008-2009 Common Academic Experience.
The College is bringing Nancy Truett, a licensed professional counselor, to campus March 23 to address the topic of girls’ development.
Her presentation dovetails with the College’s reading of “Persepolis,” this year’s Common Book. The graphic novel’s main character is a young Iranian girl who lives through the Islamic Revolution.
Truett will speak 11:50 a.m.-12:50 p.m. in the Goins Building Auditorium.
