Pellissippi State’s institutional research director named chair of state group
Sharon Yarbrough, director of Institutional Effectiveness, Research, Planning and Grant Development, has been named chair of the statewide Institutional Research Directors for the Tennessee Board of Regents.
Yarbrough has worked at the College for almost nine years. TBR is the governing body for Pellissippi State.
“Pellissippi State is well thought of as an institution,” Yarbrough said. “I was elected, in part, because I am respected within the group. They value what we do in our institutional research office at Pellissippi State.”
The Institutional Research directors meet to discuss and review reporting trends and requirements for initiatives such as performance funding, strategic planning, IPEDS (Integrated Postsecondary Education Data System), the Kansas Cost and National Benchmark studies, and various TBR reports.
