Fangs and family: a unique dual book reading this Wednesday
Rabid wolves running loose in Sevierville. A young girl and her family displaced from their Oak Ridge home by the Manhattan Project. Two wildly different tales of fiction; two local authors reading from their first-ever published novels.
Members of the community are invited to attend this unique book reading, hosted by Pellissippi State this week, on Wednesday, April 22. The authors take the stage at 11:50 a.m. in Goins Building Auditorium.
Author C. David Conner reads from his thriller, “Wolfsbane,” and novelist Rebecca Carroll shares passages from her historic book, “Milk Glass Moon.”
Both Conner and Carroll have ties to Pellissippi State. Conner, who is pursuing a master’s degree in journalism at the University of Tennessee, is a former Pellissippi State student. Carroll teaches English on the Pellissippi Campus.
For further information on the readings, contact the English Department at 694-6708.
