Design showcase for students Thursday

It’s like a graduation, celebration and potential job interview all rolled into one evening.

Pellissippi State’s showcase for its Communication Graphics Technology students this Thursday, April 23, provides an opportunity to display their design work for professionals, prospective employers, family and friends.

“It’s a big opportunity to be able to show your work and the effort you’ve put into graphic design the last two years,” said Franny Priestley, a 2007 Fulton High School graduate who will earn her two-year associate’s degree in Media Technologies on May 9.

The Student Design Showcase is 4-8 p.m. at the Bagwell Center for Media and Art. The event is free and open to the public.
