Major responsibilities: First line of technical support in assisting faculty, staff and students with accounts and computer technology issues.

Family members: Ed (husband and high school sweetheart); sons, Matt and Chad; daughter-in-law, Dee; and one precious 9-month-old grandson, Zane Thomas

Something no one knows about you: For those who don’t know, I am motorcycle nuts. I ride every chance I get! By the way, I started by taking a beginner’s class at this one great college—Pellissippi!

Greatest achievement or proudest moment: No doubt, the birth of my two sons, Matt and Chad. There is no prouder moment than when your child is placed in your arms for the first time.

Favorite things outside work: motorcycle riding, boating, traveling, spending time with family and friends.

Most rewarding part of your job: Helping. I am a helper; sometimes I get myself into messes outside of work volunteering for too much and cannot get my own things done. We all know these people. But I have always enjoyed working with computers. For as you know, it is a never-ending learning experience, and thus, I leave each day knowing that I have helped others to complete their mission by resolving technology issues.

Most influential person in your life and why: My grandmother. She taught me as a young child to seek God first in all you do, and all falls into place after that.
