Get your photo I.D. card today and avoid the rush!
Beginning fall semester, all full-time and contract faculty and staff, as well as all credit students, must have a photo identification card to use campus services. Faculty and staff who are currently on campus are encouraged to get theirs now before the semester rush begins. For information on how to get your ID at the Pellissippi Campus, click here. Weekend classes offered fall semester at reduced cost
Pellissippi State students can take weekend classes this fall and pay half the normal cost of tuition.

Pellissippi State begins fast-track degree in industrial maintenance
Want to advance in an engineering technology career but don’t have the time? Thanks to a program beginning fall semester at Pellissippi State, people who work full time can complete a two-year associate’s degree in Engineering Technology with a concentration in Industrial Maintenance in only 20 months.

Tennessee lawmakers vote to change name of Pellissippi State
Pellissippi State has undergone a name change. The Tennessee Legislature voted May 21 to drop the word “Technical” from the College’s name. Gov. Phil Bredesen signed the bill into law, and the new name—Pellissippi State Community College—went into effect July 1.

Early Childhood Education options expand
Thanks to a new agreement, students taking classes in the Early Childhood Education associate’s degree program now have the option of pursuing a four-year licensing or non-licensing program by transferring to East Tennessee State University.
