BOOKSTORE
The Campus
Bookstore is located on the first floor of the Goins Administrative
building. The primary purpose of the
Campus Bookstore is to serve the students, faculty, and staff of the College by
making available the books and supplies required for course work. In addition, the bookstore maintains wide
selections of general books and college supplies, which contribute to the
overall educational experience offered by
The bookstore
stocks textbooks in quantities to meet only the anticipated needs of students
expected to enroll. Some publishers are
willing to mail desk copies directly to an instructor teaching the course upon
receiving a written request from him or her.
Publishers do not issue desk copies through the bookstore. Do not ask the bookstore to lend copies
stocked for students.
To provide a
supply of textbooks for each semester, the following textbook deadlines must be
followed. These are the dates by which
the requests must be received by the bookstore in order to provide sufficient
lead time for ordering, shipping, receiving, pricing, and stocking on shelves
before registration day.

Fall Semester - Preceding April 15

Spring Semester - October 15 of Preceding Calendar Year

Summer Semester - Preceding April 1
The instructor's
textbook request will be prepared by the above dates. All requested information
must be provided. The request should be
forwarded through the department head for approval. The textbook manager will process the request.
The budgetary
official or designee may obtain supplies for departmental use at the
bookstore. Any request for supplies must
