SENIOR CITIZEN/PERSON WITH DISABILITY CHARGES

 

Tennessee Code Annotated (T.C.A.) 49-3251, as amended, provides special legislation for persons with disabilities and for individuals 60 years of age or older and 65 years of age or older.

Audit Course

Persons with disabilities as defined by the above referenced legislation and persons 60 years of age or older who are residents of Tennessee are eligible to enroll in courses for audit without payment of maintenance, campus access, student, activity fee, student recreation center technology fee and late registration fees.  All applicable special course fees are charged.

Credit Courses

Persons with disabilities as defined by the above referenced legislation and persons 65 years of age or older who are residents of Tennessee are eligible to enroll in courses for credit on a space-available-basis without payment of maintenance, campus access, student activity, technology fee, student recreation center, and late registration fees, subject to payment of a service fee equal to one-half the semester hour rate, not to exceed $70.00 per semester.  All applicable special course fees will be charged.

Non-Credit Courses

Permanent disability and senior citizen discounts do not apply to Continuing Education Programs.
