Pellissippi State
is here to help you attain your goals-whether your goal is to earn a
two-year associate’s degree that leads directly into a rewarding
career or to get a good foundation for earning a four-year bachelor’s
degree form a university.
Career/Technical
Programs - Our Career/Technical programs can get you into the job market in as
little as two years with an Associate of Applied Science degree. Job
placement rates are consistently above 90 percent, and starting salaries
for some fields average nearly $30,000.
College
Transfer/University Parallel programs are for students planning to earn a baccalaureate degree at
a four-year college or university. Students may complete the first two
years at Pellissippi State from a broad selection of courses that will
transfer to most four-year institutions.
Online
Courses and Distance Learning offer a variety of courses through distance learning formats. Two-way
audio/video, telecourses, videotape, and Web-based options are available
for career/technical and university parallel students who need flexibility
in scheduling and instructional methods.
AHEAD Program -
an accelerated degree program for busy people who are trying to advance in a hospitality, management,
or marketing career.
With AHEAD, you can
continue your daytime responsibilities and earn a two-year associate's degree in only 16 months!
University
Connection - Our new University Connection agreements with Tennessee Technological
University (TTU) and East Tennessee State University (ETSU) allow you
complete a bachelor's degree without ever leaving the Pellissippi State
campus.
Certificate
Programs offer high-quality, short-term training in the form of technical and institutional certificate programs. Individual programs are designed for working students
who wish to upgrade their skills or gain additional certification in
a particular area. |
