It's finally here!

After many months of development and listening to your requests, we're proud to unveil the all new PSTCC.edu. We think you'll find that it's more streamlined, easier to navigate-both for current users and for new visitors-and more audience driven. It also supports the College's marketing efforts by integrating the "getconnected" theme and testimonials.

The new design is based on your requests and comments, review of other college Web sites, tracking of Pellissippi State's Web page visits and feedback from focus groups. You'll find that this site delivers an updated look and the information you need. However, we've made some changes we think you will appreciate.

Our new site is packed with all the features, tools, and interactivity you told us you were looking for, delivered 24-7. The site's search feature is now powered through Google; links such as Webmail, myPellissippi and the library are prominently featured on the home page;
and the current weather conditions and calendar rss feeds of campus events are at your fingertips.

You will also notice a brand new look for the homepage. The web site is now audience-based with links and resources customized to meet your needs whether you are a student, faculty and staff member or community citizen.

The home page isn't the only part of the site that's changing. You may notice that only certain areas of the site have been updated with the new design. This is because the college has purchased a new Content Management System called LCMS. This system will allow each department to quickly make updates and maintain their own sites. Templates have been developed and will be used for the underlying pages. Over the next year, the entire College Web site will transition into these templates. Marketing and Communications will assist each area with training and guidance during the transition process.

As we adjust to this exciting time of change, there are some things we have put in place to help you find the information you need. Located at the bottom of each page, you will see a link labeled "Previous Homepage". The former homepage will continue to be updated and accessible until we complete the transition process. We will also be simplifying all web addresses for the underlying pages. This may affect items such as bookmarks and cached pages. Please check your page bookmarks as they may be affected. You will notice that items such as the Google search box, Help section and AZ Index will be on every page for your convenience.
