Bridge to RN Pathway

The Pellissippi State AASN Bridge Pathway consists of three semesters of nursing classes in addition to other general education course requirements. Bridge was developed to allow students who have already completed certifications as LPN (Licensed Practical Nurses) and Paramedics to use their prior experiences to complete the program in a shorter amount of time. It is designed to give the student the necessary skills and preparation for employment as a RN (Registered Nurse) after graduation. Graduates of the AASN program are eligible to apply for the National Council License Examination (NCLEX-RN) for licensure as a registered nurse.
