Council Scholarship
The Administrative Council
Scholarship was established in February of 1996. This annual gift to the
Pellissippi State Foundation is used to provide a scholarship for a deserving
student in accordance with the following guidelines:
- Eligibility .
In order to qualify for the scholarship, a student must:
- Have
completed 30 credit hours (college and/or remedial/developmental) at
Pellissippi State;
- Demonstrate
financial need;
- Have
maintained a minimum overall grade-point average of 2.5 at Pellissippi
State;
- Receive
a written recommendation from a faculty advisor, administrator, teacher,
or recognized professional person such as an employer.
- Selection .
The Pellissippi State Foundation selects the recipient through an application
process and notifies the Administrative Council with the name of the
recipient after the selection process is completed.
- Amount of Stipend .
$1,500 annually
Funds for the scholarship are raised through member
donations and Council sponsored fundraising activities.
