Johnson Service Group is recruiting for an experienced, Privacy Officer / Cyber Security Analyst, for a 12-month contract position in Knoxville, TN.  Our client is looking for a talented professional to help address privacy risks and complex questions surrounding the appropriate collection, maintenance and sharing of personal information in an increasing digital world. 

This position will assist the Senior Privacy Program Manager through policy implementation, meeting regulatory requirements, and working to ensure the consideration and protection of privacy for all individuals and across all programs. The ideal candidate will have excellent written and verbal communication skills, a strong interest in privacy, and a general understanding of information technology. (U.S. Citizenship Required.)

Responsibilities Include: Demonstrate and apply privacy subject matter expertise across the organization. Conduct Privacy Impact Assessments of information systems and analyze privacy risks associated with those systems. Analyze complex IT systems to determine if policy decisions are supported in the technical implementation. Make recommendations to address privacy control weaknesses and consult with internal departments to mitigate risks. Prepare System of Records Notices for new of modified systems containing personally identifiable information. Assists in Privacy Incident Management to include support to the Incident Response team, preparing breach notifications, lessons learned, etc. Report information to management, executives, and other federal agencies.

Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in computer science, business, or a related field of study. 1 - 3 years of experience dealing with privacy law, regulations and privacy risks (i.e. HIPAA, Privacy Act, COPPA, GLBA, etc.). Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP) is a plus. Strong understanding and familiarity with U.S. privacy laws and regulations. Must understand privacy concepts and terminology as applicable to the public sector. Must have the ability to distill complex issues into easy to understand recommendations that can be conveyed in written and verbal form. STARTING SALARY: $33,175.00 per year or $15.95 per hour before standard deductions

PRIMARY JOB TASKS: Operates multi-line telephone including police, fire, ambulance, emergency (911), police routine and in-house lines. Dispatches police, fire and ambulance personnel on a routine basis. Dispatches wrecker service, animal control officers and stand-by Public Works and Electrical employees as needed. The Concrete Superintendent is responsible for field supervision of craft and/or subcontractors for the Structural installation, testing and turnover of systems to Commissioning. Field Mapping/Surveying Technician

Efficient Energy of Tennessee (EETN) is a rapidly growing renewable energy company seeking a Field Mapping/Surveying Technician to provide mapping/surveying for utility scale solar projects. EETN specializes in the design and installation of commercial/utility scale solar PV systems.

Position Description:

Working with Design Team, Engineering Staff, Subcontractors, Project Foremen and Project Managers, this position is responsible for the mapping/locating of various aspects of solar installations including but not limited to:

  • locating trenches for future underground utilities
  • locating placement of piles to be driven for racking
  • establishing fencing lines
  • locating concrete pads that large solar equipment is mounted on
  • taking Topo measurements
  • mapping of existing structures

Mapping/Surveying includes understanding and use of survey equipment, survey program, and AutoCAD program. A general knowledge of AutoCAD is preferred but not required. Applicant must be highly motivated, able to work within a group, and must possess communication skills necessary to interact with subcontractors, related technical engineers, and project managers. This position is primarily an in-the-field position requiring travel out of town for most projects. Mapping/surveying will be completed on a per project basis and when there are no projects in progress; responsibilities will be to grow in AutoCAD knowledge and solar photovoltaics so as to further the understanding of solar installations in general. When not in the field, work and learning will be conducted at our home office in Powell, TN.

Shifts will either be 5am or 6 am until 2 pm, or 8am or 9am to 4pm. Have need for the 8-4 shift. Looking for both full and part time. We could also use one more night person part time as well and those hours would be 3 or 4-close.

Starting pay is 8.50-8.75.

Announcing IACMI’s 2018 Summer Internship Program….December 31, 2017 deadline is fast approaching

IACMI is accepting applications for undergraduate and graduate students to participate in a 10 week Summer Internship opportunity starting June 4, 2018

Interns receive a competitive stipend, housing assistance*, and limited travel expenses to attend an IACMI Members Meeting and present their work to 300+ IACMI members.

*Housing assistance is provided only for the Summer 10 week students and primary address must be outside of a 30 miles from the host location. 

To be eligible for the IACMI Internship Program, an undergraduate or graduate student must: Be a United States citizen. Be a student in good standing at a regionally accredited U.S. college or university (the university does not have to be a member of IACMI in order for its students to participate). Have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.2. Be at least 18 years old at the time of appointment. Provide proof of health insurance coverage (ORAU has insurance options for those that need it)

Any student enrolled in an accredited institution meeting the requirements above can apply.  The applicants are selected by a mentor that will assign the successful candidate to a project in advanced composites.

Sports Facilities Management 2018 Spring Internship at Rocky Top Sports World, Gatlinburg, TN

The Sports Facilities Management (SFM) is a leading resource for those seeking to plan, manage, and optimize sports, recreation, event and entertainment centers. SFM has been engaged to manage the day-to-day operations of Rocky Top Sports World (RTSW).

Rocky Top Sports World opened in July 2014, in Gatlinburg, Tennessee, at the foothills of the Great Smoky Mountains. The world-class sports complex includes an 86,000 square foot indoor facility holding six (6) basketball or twelve (12) volleyball courts. The indoor facility will also hold wrestling, gymnastics, and other indoor competitions. The facility also features seven (7) state-of-the-art outdoor fields for soccer, football, and lacrosse. Rocky Top Sports World is currently interviewing candidates for our newly integrated Spring Internship program.

Candidates selected for our Spring Internship program will be working closely with all aspects of day-to-day facility operations. Duties will include, but are not limited to, the following: Assisting Operations Team with pre-event, event, and post-event functions; General facility maintenance and grounds maintenance; Food and beverage assignments; Marketing/Sponsorship aid; Guest services and office support

Functional Skills: Verbal, written, and interpersonal skills when: Interacting with/and coordinating with RTSW personnel in the office; Appropriate business acumen while representing the company on the phone.

Technical Skills: Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; Ability to learn, with training, technology and sports, recreation, facility and scheduling programs.

Experience, Education, and other skills: Working toward bachelor’s degree in Sport Management or related field.

Additional Information: Selected candidates will be compensated $10/hour.
