4 For 40

Pellissippi State is teaming up with FOUR very special community partners in celebration of our 40th Anniversary. This is an opportunity to show our community how TEAM PELLISSIPPI supports its community.

Registration
Hour Reporting

During our year-long 4 for 40 campaign, faculty and staff are encouraged to choose one of the community partners below to serve either individually or as a group during the academic year. This will be a College sanctioned community service opportunity that will provide up to 3½ hours of release time for each employee who participates. All release time must be approved by your supervisor prior to volunteering. Note: Faculty, please make sure that your service time occurs outside of your scheduled class times and office hours.

How it Works

Arrange release time with your Supervisor so that you may serve that community partner on a particular day. (If someone desires to serve more hours than the college will approve, please do so at times that do not conflict with your regular work schedule).

Register as a PSCC Volunteer through http://www.pstcc.edu/service-learning/index.php

Serve your hours and have fun with your community service work.

Report your completed hours.

  1. If you serve additional hours with another partner in the community, that is fine; report them. You will only need to register one time.
  2. A new Community Service Award will be presented to the employee who has registered and reported the greatest number of community service hours by April 12, 2015. The award recipient will be announced at the 2015 Employee Awards Ceremony in April.
