Pellissippi Pantry

The Pellissippi Pantry provides access to healthy foods for members of the Pellissippi State Family who may be experiencing food insecurity. Since opening in May 2016, the Pantry serves an average of 120 participants a month across all five campuses.

Participants may fill out a Pellissippi Pantry application.  To help maintain confidentiality, Pellissippi Pantry staff and volunteers fill orders by ID number rather than by name.

Orders many be picked up every other week and participants can indicate which campus is most convenient for them.

Each order is a 3-5 day supply of food for each family member. The order includes prepackage food and fresh organically grown produce from the Hardin Valley Campus Garden. Healthy recipes and information about community resources are often included with orders.

Support Three Rivers Market at 1100 N. Central Avenue in Knoxville. For the second year in a row, the Pellissippi Pantry has been selected as a Nourishing Change Recipient. Customers “round up” their purchase amount during a specific month and those proceeds are donated to the Pantry. They are utilized to purchase healthy food and additional storage.
