The SRC on the Hardin Valley Campus remains closed this fall, although staff has activities planned for fall, both virtual and off-site. All sports fields, including the sand volleyball courts, that are located behind the SRC also are closed. The disc golf course and walking trail around the pond on the Hardin Valley Campus are open, however. Indoor recreational areas on other campuses are closed as well, though the walking trail and volleyball court on the Blount County Campus is open.

The SRC offers students, faculty and staff one of the best sport, recreation, and fitness facilities in the area. The 24,000-square-foot arena has three tennis courts, a basketball court and volleyball courts. Our facility also includes a 2,000-square-foot weight room with cardiovascular machines, weight machines and a free weight machine area. The outdoor area features a sand volleyball court, softball field, soccer field, four tennis courts, basketball court and two artificial turf putting greens measuring 5,000 square feet. The new racquetball courts and dance studio has added another 12,000 square feet.
