Creating Accessible Video

Consider the following when creating videos:

Build in accessibility at the beginning of the creation process. 

Make sure the video player is accessible.   Can it be controlled by keystrokes?

Does the video play automatically as the page loads?  The audio may be too loud to hear the screen reader over it.

Is there any flashing content? Use the Photosensitive Epilepsy Analysis Tool to be sure

Provide a transcript (text, html or Word)

Provide captions

Use audio descriptions

Provide an interactive transcript.
