MathPlayer 4 (Open Source)

This download adds a MathPlayer tab to Word.  This offers the option of having notation read aloud, when it has been created in MathType and copied to Word.  Both MathPlayer and MathType must be installed in order for the notation to read properly.  This option works best for individuals who are not blind or visually impaired.

For individuals who are blind, the MathType page must be published to html in order for it to be used by screen reading software. 

MathType is not accessible to screen reader users in order to enter answers to problems.

Central Access Reader (Open Source-WIN 64 bit only, not currently working in Mac Yosemite)

Central Access Reader is not screen-reader compatible.
