Student Affairs mission is to support the teaching and public service functions of the College by providing services and activities that promote the academic success of the Pellissippi students and enhance the quality of campus life. We offer comprehensive support services to our students at five campus locations and to our distant learners. Our services are geared toward providing knowledge and skills that can facilitate decision making and problem solving in the community, workplace, or home. (from the Student Affairs website)
As a technical community college, Student Affairs has an appreciation of the members of the community and strive to assist each student in realizing his or her full potential for a responsible role in society. We emphasize the importance of retention and persistence to graduation.
