WHO CAN SUBMIT A PROPOSAL?
Students, Faculty, and Staff are encouraged to write proposals.
WHO RECEIVES NOTIFICATION OF OPEN DATES FOR PROPOSAL SUBMISSION?
Student Listserve and Faculty-Staff Listserve.
WHAT IS THE PROCESS FOR PROPOSAL APPROVAL?
- The Sustainable Campus Committee (composed of 18 students, 6 staff, and 13 faculty) evaluates proposal applications by a rubric (please click here for the AASHE Evaluation Rubric).
- Depending on the nature of the proposal, consultation with appropriate college authorities is required for proposed projects.
- The members of the committee vote on whether to fund the proposed project and at what level.
- Following committee approval by vote, additional approval may be required by appropriate college or Tennessee Board of Regents authorities.
HOW IS A PROPOSAL SUBMITTED FOR CONSIDERATION?
Applications are accepted Spring and Fall semesters. Complete the proposal electronically by following the Sustainable Campus Fee S17 Application. Please attache your letters of support to the Dynamic Form or please have them emailed to Ann Kronk no later than the proposal deadline date Monday, April 3, 2017 for April review.
