Taking your GED(c) Test at Pellissippi State Community College
Before you can take your GED© Test, you must take the Official Practice Test (OPT).
The GED© Test consists of five sections. Each section is $13 to test ($65 if you take the entire test). All fees must be paid by check, money order or credit card prior to the test. Cash cannot be accepted.
Starting January 2014, the GED will no longer be given as a paper/pencil test. The computerized test is already available, although the cost is higher ($125). You must complete your GED before January 2014 or start over. Scores from pre-2014 testing cannot be combined with scores from post-2014 testing.
