Scholarships will be assigned soon for 2011-2012.

Criteria for Future Applications

$500/semester scholarships (Gold)

Gold scholarships are merit and need based. The parameters:

Students must -

• Qualify for financial aid to apply
• Be a declared theatre major
• Be involved in the semester production
• Be enrolled in at least one additional THEA class or have taken all of the theatre classes
• Have at least a 2.75 GPA
• Be a full-time student (12 cr.)

$250/semester scholarships (Blue)

Blue scholarships are merit based. The parameters:

Students must -

• Be a declared theatre major
• Be enrolled in at least one THEA class or have taken all of the theatre classes
• Have at least a 2.75 GPA
• Be a full-time student (12 cr.)

Factors considered:

• Overall GPA
• Theatre Class GPA
• Established academic record (how long you have been taking classes here.)
• Participation in theatre activities and theatre classes (both at and outside of Pellissippi.)
• Financial need
