Flag Courses
Course Descriptions
The FLAG (Flexible Learning for Achievement and Growth) courses offers computer-based instruction for developmental and college-level courses and are designed to help students needing a flexible schedule. FLAG courses include Developmental Math 0890, Developmental Writing 0800 and 0870, Developmental Reading 0800, English Composition 1010, English Composition 1020, MATH 1010, and MATH 1130.
Flexible Starting and Ending Dates
Self-paying students have the opportunity to start a course before the beginning of a normal semester. All students are eligible to work at an accelerated pace and finish coursework early. A motivated student can finish a course before the end of a semester or complete two sequential courses in one semester.
Transfer Students
Students with scheduling difficulties during the semester have the option of transferring into FLAG courses. These students must be in good standing in the coursework to be eligible for transfer.
Requirements
Keyboarding expertise and a computer at home with Internet access is required.
