Weekend College

Pellissippi State Community College’s Magnolia Avenue Campus makes it easy for you to earn your associate degree or certificate with Weekend College. You can complete certain degrees or certificates by attending classes only on Saturdays.

General Transfer Degrees

If you plan to earn your associate degree and then transfer to a four-year university — but you’re not sure what options you might pursue there — you can earn a general transfer degree. Completing one of these degrees will fulfill the general education requirements at a four-year university. However, that flexibility means that you’re responsible for ensuring that the courses you take will be accepted by the university you plan to attend.

Tennessee Transfer Pathway Programs

Tennessee Transfer Pathway programs are designed to seamlessly transfer to Tennessee Board of Regents or University of Tennessee institutions. Students who complete a TTP program will earn an Associate of Arts or an Associate of Science degree with a concentration in their area of study. Those areas of study count toward a four-year university major in that same area. Transfer program concentrations offered on weekends at the Magnolia Avenue Campus:

Business Administration
Social Work

Career Program

Career programs prepare students to earn their associate degrees and then enter the workforce. Associate of Applied Science degrees are offered in a number of program areas with numerous concentrations. Career programs offered on weekends

Students can earn high-quality, short-term training in the form of certificates. Certificates are especially designed for working students or those who wish to upgrade skills or gain additional certification. Most certificates don’t have general education or placement testing requirements, and they are not supported by financial aid. Certificates offered at the Magnolia Avenue Campus:
