Library March Newsletter

The Library's March 2006 Newsletter, No 4 of Volume 2 in pdf format is now available at the Library Newsletter webpage.

It features a new online database, the Testing & Education Reference Center. Search for colleges, distance learning opportunities, programs for international students, and nursing schools. Search thousands of graduate, law, M.B.A., nursing, and distance learning (online) opportunities. Search vocational schools, career colleges, information technology programs, executive education programs, and private secondary schools (Also try the Library's College Source Online database, it includes complete college catalogs, summary information, and weblinks to U.S. and foreign colleges and universities) .

Test preparation resource to prepare for the GED; civil service and military entrance exams; licensing tests for law enforcement, real estate, the postal service, and many other fields; plus college and graduate school admissions exams, including SAT, ACT and AP college credit exams.

Find over 40 test preparation ebooks for high school, college entrance, college credit, graduate entrance, nursing, civil service and licensing, and military entrance and career test preparation.

The Testing & Education Reference CenterTOEFL test preparation ebooks and practice tests may be of interest to ESL faculty and students.

An update about the Health and Wellness Resource Center, is also included. It recently added streaming video on a variety of health related topics.

The Newsletter also notes of the Library's introduction in May of a new Online Catalog. Take a look at the current testing catalog at http://library.tntech.edu, but beware that come early May it may look somewhat different.
