Pellissippi Library

The Library's Fall Newsletter, Volume 3, no. 1 is now available at the Library, the satellite ERCs and online at http://www.pstcc.edu/library/Library_Archive.htm.  It includes news about the Library's new Online Catalog, an up to date, more web friendly catalog. Pellissippi Library is a member of TIN (Tennessee Innovative Network ~ Innovative is the name of the library Vendor). Membership consists of us, Tennessee Tech (our host), Motlow, Roane, and Vol State. The records of these libraries are also available for searching. When first connected, the search default Pellissippi State Library's collection. Once search results are returned it is easy to search another Library by selecting it from a convenient drop down menu.

The catalog provides access to books located at the Pellissippi campus and the Satellite ERC campuses. Use it to search for videos and DVDs at Education Technology Services in Goins, and the CDs in the Learning Center. Find out if a book is on the shelf or checked out.

Search the catalog for ebooks, over 50,000 ebooks from NetLibrary, over 1,00 eaudiobooks via NetLibrary, over 1,000 ACLS History ebooks, and over 600 Knovel Engineering, Food Science &Chemistry ebooks. Get immediate access to the full text of an ebook (audiobooks require a NetLibrary account and need to be downloaded to a pc or handheld mp3 player ~ sorry, the audio book collection does not work with an IPOD) by clicking on the ebook link. 

When off-campus the catalog will prompt you to login with your Pellissippi username and password to enable access to online resources.
